Our precious Tasha had to undergo emergency surgery in Sept 2024. During her menstrual cycle she developed Pyometra- a uterine infection due to her uterius not closing- resulting in bacterior growth. Tasha was in extreme pain and losing blood. This resulted in her having a full hysterectomy.
Tasha at the vet- awaiting surgery.
Tasha pulled thru the surgery fine and was resting alot but required around the clock medication . We also fed her a special diet to help in her recovery. Today, Tasha is more loving and is doing just fine!
Tasha has always had an unpredictable demeanor and being in pain as a precaution, she had to be muzzled
Tasha today- still LOVING her toys and wanting to play!
We are happy to report that Tasha is back to her normal self!
